From Morocco to the factory floors of China
My name is Fouad. I grew up in Morocco, and like a lot of people, I had big ambitions but not a lot of resources to back them up. I didn't come from money. I didn't have connections in the industry. What I had was a willingness to go where the products actually come from β China.
I moved here and started learning the market from the inside. Not from YouTube videos or courses. From actual factories, real supplier negotiations, trade shows in Guangzhou, and deals that sometimes went wrong. Especially deals that went wrong.
I watched people β good people, smart people β lose thousands of dollars because they trusted a supplier they'd never met, on a product they'd never seen in person. Wrong specs. Fake samples. Shipments that arrived completely different from what was agreed. It happened constantly, and it still does.
That's when I realized: the problem isn't that China is risky. The problem is that most people are buying blind. They're making $5,000 decisions based on a few photos and a WhatsApp conversation.
I decided to be the person on the ground who changes that.
First trip to China
Arrived with ambition and very little else. Started learning the market from the inside β factories, trade shows, supplier negotiations.
Saw the real problem

Started doing inspections
Began helping a few clients verify their orders before shipping. The results spoke for themselves β problems caught, money saved.
